Printables

The planners and worksheets from the books.

These are the pages from the back of the books, sized for letter paper so you can print them at home or run a class set. Nothing here asks for an email address first.

That said, we would LOVE to hear from you! Please feel free to drop us a note, letting us know how you are using these materials at hello@jpcardinal.com. Your comments and insights help us to know what is working, so we can continue to improve the quality of our materials moving forward.

Book Two worksheets — 4 pages, PDF Ed's Project Planner, cut-out task strips, a which-part-went-wrong reset sheet, and a page for big ideas. Book One worksheets — 5 pages, PDF Say it out loud, the pause before the words come out, show don't argue, and build your crew.

How to use them

At home

Start with the task strips. Pick one real job this week — a project, a bedroom, a science fair board — and write each small piece on its own strip. Pin them somewhere visible. Pull one down when it's finished.

In the classroom

The planner works for any assignment, not just science. The skill list at the back of Book Two doubles as an anchor chart, and the reflection page gives you something to hand a student who has just watched their project flop.

Copying and sharing

Print as many as you need for your own home, classroom or library. Share the link rather than the file itself, so people find the newest version and know where it came from.
